I'm using Ubuntu Linux and I've installed moto4lin using sudo apt-get install moto4lin. I have a Razr (couldn't tell you the model for the life of me, but it's not as wide as the really high-end model) that Tracy gave me for X-mas. Here's how I download images and video from that phone into my Ubuntu Linux computer:

• sudo moto4lin
• open the preferences dialog box and change the ACM device to /dev/ttyACM0
• click the OK button
• click the Update List button
• Download images into folder X
• Change permissions of the folder when the download is complete.
